Talma Lyle Overstreet

Mrs. Talma Overstreet age 96, of Pittsburg passed away on Monday, January 13, 2020 in Mt. Pleasant. She was born September 29, 1923 to Stanley and Lessie Smith Nelson in Camp County.

Mrs. Overstreet worked for Mike Benet in Pittsburg and was a Baptist.

She is survived by her son, Stan Overstreet and wife, Charlotte; daughter, Carolyn Wetzel and husband, Raymond; grandchildren, Virginia Pearson, Gary Dale Wetzel, Kipper Overstreet, Kyle Overstreet and Lindsey Overstreet; sister, Lois Campbell; ten great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Weldon Overstreet; her parents; sons, Roy Overstreet and David Overstreet; grandson, Harold Wetzel; brother, Robert Nelson; sister, Carola Harris.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 18, 2020 at the First Baptist Church in Pittsburg, with Bro. Kyle Smith and Dr Rodney Burrow officiating.  Interment will be in the Piney Grove Cemetery in Upshur County. There will be a visitation held on Friday, January 17, 2020 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
