Billy Clairice (Long) Hampton

Graveside services for Billy Clarice Long Hampton, 87, of Pittsburg will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 20, 2020 at Leesburg Cemetery in Camp County. Interment will be in Leesburg Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home.  Mrs. Hampton passed away Friday, September 18, 2020 in a Mt. Pleasant nursing home.

Mrs. Hampton was born July 13, 1933 in Roaring Spring, Texas to Raymond and Effie Long.  She was a retired registered nurse, a member of numerous Women’s Clubs, traveled with First Baptist Church and played the church handbells and was a member of First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Tommy Hampton and wife, Mary; daughter, Cindy Solomon and husband, Dempsey; grandchildren, Leslie Curry and husband, Darryl, Travis Hampton, Matthew Solomon, and Adam James Solomon.

Mrs. Hampton is preceded in death by her husband, J.R. Hampton; brother, Raymond Long, Jr. and her parents.
