Billy Doyce Martin

Funeral services for Billy Doyce Martin, 82, of Duncanville (formerly of Pittsburg), will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 29, 2020 at Emmanuel Baptist Church with Bro. Kyle Smith officiating.  Interment will be in Blevins Cemetery in Morris County.  Arrangements are under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home.  Mr. Martin passed away Friday, June 26, 2020 in Waxahachie, TX.

Mr. Martin was born November 27, 1937 in Daingerfield to Emerson Willis and Audye Skipper Martin.  He was a retired graphic artist, a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby Dell (Hobbs) Martin; daughters, Becky Smith and husband, Jerry of Waxahachie and Teresa Russell and husband, Terry of Midlothian; grandchildren, Kaytlin Bechtol and husband, Nick and Taylor Russell and wife, Ali; great-grandson, Connor Bechtol and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Martin is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Wilma Trent and brother-in-law, James.

Pallbearers will be Nick Bechtol, Taylor Russell, Tony Trent, Paul Trent, Cory Hiles, Chase Hiles, Blake Nance and Keith Burns.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 29, 2020 at Emmanuel Baptist Church.
