Charlie Crain Obituary

Charlie Crain, age 72, of Pittsburg passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021 in Tyler. He was born September 28, 1948 to Ed and Virginia Crain in Pittsburg, Texas.

Mr. Crain served in the United States Navy, and was a Project Manager for Pilgrims Pride. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pittsburg and a member of the Frank Sexton Masonic Lodge in Pittsburg.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Elwell Crain of Pittsburg; daughter, Telly Hall and husband Mike of Mt. Pleasant; son, Paul Crain and wife Angela of Denton; grandchildren, Bailey Hall, Cassi Crain, Katy Crain, Avery Hall, Taylor Crain, Hunter Crain, Braden Crain, and Luke Crain; brother, Bob Crain and wife Janice of Pittsburg; sister, Betty Crain of Pittsburg.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, June 12, 2021 at the First Baptist Church in Pittsburg with Bro. Joel Davis officiating, interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Pittsburg. Pallbearers will be Gered Lee, Josh Lankford, Jay Lankford, Jonathan Shumate, Wayne Marshall, and Drew Covey. Honorary Pallbearers will be close family friends.  There will be a visitation held before the service beginning at 1:30 P.M. at the church.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the First Baptist Church P.O.Box 576 Pittsburg, Texas 75686.
