Dale Sims

Mr.Dale Sims age 72, of Upshur County passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021, at his home. He was born January 10, 1949 to Zack and Mona Ray Sims in Nacodoches, Texas.

He was a farmer of cattle and poultry, an electrician and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pittsburg.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Erwin Sims; son, Christopher Dale Sims; daughters, Audra Ann Sims, Dana Rachelle Jones, and Kimberly Loren Chadwick and husband Bobby; and son, Zach Garon Sims; 12 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a sister, Tonya Whittaker and husband James, and numerous friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

A family lead Memorial Service will held at 11:00 A.M. on May 3, 2021 at the First Baptist Church in Pittsburg. There will be a visitation held before the service beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the church.
