Daniel Thompson Collins

Funeral services for Daniel Thompson Collins, 97, of Dallas will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 7, 2020 at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Pittsburg.  Interment will be in Crossroads Cemetery in Camp County.  Arrangements are under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home.  Mr. Collins passed away, Sunday, February 2, 2020 in Dallas.

Mr. Collins was born June 17, 1922 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to James and Eva Lancaster Collins.  He was a retired attorney at law, a veteran of the United States Army during World War II and a member of Lovers Lane United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his son, Kevin Collins and wife, Sheilah of Plano; daughters, Linda Bedunah of Richardson and Rachel Wray and husband, Tim of Plano; grandchildren, Andy Vereeke, Justin Wray, Chase Wray and Haley Wray.

Mr. Collins is preceded in death by Gurtha Efurd Collins; brother, Leonard Collins; sister, Dorothy Pace.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Collins, Tim Wray, Andy Vereeke, Justin Wray, Chase Wray, Bobby Farris, and Haley Wray.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 7, 2020 at Erman Smith Funeral Home.
