Imogene Taylor Stewart

Mrs. Imogene Taylor Stewart, age 90, of Pittsburg, passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021 in Pittsburg. She was born March 8, 1931 to William and Ollie Salmon Miller in Ralls, Texas.

She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Pittsburg.

She is survived by her son, Billy Taylor and wife Lizann of Pittsburg; daughters, Sandra Taylor Williams of Weatherford, Bridget Stewart- Ribsam and husband John of Hutto, and step-daughter, Vickie Stewart Taylor and husband Mike of Mt. Pleasant; daughter-in-law, Barbara Taylor of Pittsburg; grandchildren, Robert Attaway, Tomika Jones, Phillip Jones, Jada Williams, Casey Taylor-Mayben, Matt Taylor, Kalvin Williams, Sierra Ribsam, Lane Ribsam, Ashley Taylor-Walters, Aaron Taylor, and Kristi Vega; twenty eight great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by both of her husbands, Bruce Taylor, and W.I. Stewart, Jr.; her parents; her son, Mickey Taylor; step-son, Rickey Stewart; three brothers, and six sisters.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Bethel Baptist Church in Pittsburg with  Bro. John Middleton officiating, interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Pittsburg. Pallbearers will be Danny Miner, Davey Miner, Tim Spearman, Kelly Smith, Rex Minchew, Charlie Baxter, Jeff Efurd, William Mitcham, and Gary Dobbs. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jerrald Jordan, Norris Jordan, James White, Bro. Doyle Rust, Neal O’Quinn, Kendall O’Quinn, and Rey Barron, Jr. There will be a visitation held before the service beginning at 10:00 A. M. at the church.
