Obituary

Jimmy Don Rosenkoetter, 73, of Brownsville, Texas, passed away on August 24, 2023. Jimmy was born on September 5, 1949, in Brownsville, Texas, to Fredrick Herman Rosenkoetter and Jeffie Durene Pankhurst. He was loved by many and cherished his family dearly.

Jimmy had a fulfilling career as a Pharmacy Technician at John Sealy Hospital. He dedicated his professional life to helping others and making a difference in the lives of patients.

Jimmy attended Texas Southmost College, where he pursued higher education and honed his skills in the field of pharmacy. His commitment to learning and dedication to his work earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues. In his free time, Jimmy found solace in worshiping at the Methodist church. His faith provided him with strength and comfort throughout his life.

He is survived by his cousins, Shirley Davis of Longview, Robert Sparkman of Longview, Sharon Henson of Rockwall, Sherry Lazor of Richardson, David Pullen of California, Melvin Pullen of Dallas, Curtis Pullen of Dallas, Clifford Ellison of Galveston, Billy Ellison of Galveston, and Karl Ellison of Galveston.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents, Fredrick and Jeffie, and his brother, Freddie Mack Rosenkoetter.

A private burial service will be held at Pleasant Grove Cemetery to honor Jimmy's life.
