Johnny Roark

Mr. Johnny Roark, age 66, of Artesia, New Mexico, formerly of Pittsburg, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020 in Lubbock, Texas. He was born September 4, 1954 to Vestal and Elsie Owens Roark in Pittsburg.

Mr. Roark is survived by his daughter, Brandy Roark of White Oak, sons, Jonathan Roark of Artesia, New Mexico, and Franklin Roark of Mt. Pleasant, sister, Louise Mayo of Gilmer, sister, Carolyn Turnball of Overton, brother, Terry Roark and Thelma of Artesia, New Mexico, brother, Jerry Roark of Roswell, New Mexico, sister, Janey Matthews and David of Pittsburg, brother, James Roark of Winnsboro, sister Pamela Mosely of Ore City, sister, Bertha Frederick of Pittsburg, sister, Tammy Saylor of Pittsburg, and sister,  Katie Gonzalez of Pittsburg, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Christina Roark, brothers, Vestal Roark Jr. and Richard Roark, a sister, Evelyn Roark, sister-in-law, Irene Roark, and a brother-in-law, Danny Mayo.

A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 P.M., Saturday, October 24, 2020 at The Kids Play Place, 2072 US HWY 271 North Pittsburg, Texas 75686.
