Loretta Ruth (Whitney) Thompson

Graveside services for Loretta Ruth Whitney Thompson, 73, of Pittsburg will be at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 9, 2020 at Graveside Crossroads Cemetery in Camp County with Chaplain Shiles Hubbell officiating. Interment will be in Crossroads Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home.  Mrs. Thompson passed away Thursday, August 6, 2020 at her residence.

Mrs. Thompson was born August 10, 1946 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Melvin and Lucille Roberta Craig Whitney.  She retired from Walmart after 25 years.

She is survived by her daughters, Connie Rolf, Mary Hankness and Tina Lowry; sister, Emma Gene Barnett; grandchildren, Braden Baugh, Brittney Tabone, Chance Smith, Vickie Arndt, Logan Lowry; great-grandchildren, Avery Baugh, and Gunner Roberts.

Mrs. Thompson is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Leon Whitney and Billy Whitney; sisters, Dottie Hudgins and Christine Martin.

Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 1:30 p.m., Sunday, August 9, 2020 at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel.
