Mary Etta (Henderson) Fowler

Graveside services for Mary Etta Fowler, 102, of Pittsburg, TX will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 29, 2020 at Macedonia Cemetery in Camp County with Dr. Allen Reed officiating. Interment will be in Macedonia Cemetery in Camp County.  Arrangements are under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home.  Mrs. Fowler passed away Sunday, May 24, 2020 in a Kilgore nursing home.

Mrs. Fowler was born May 22, 1918 in Mineola to Ether Chaney and Myrtle Nevada Davis Henderson.  She was a homemaker, seamstress and a member of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her granddaughter, Rhonda Venice Fowler; and great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn Joy Fowler; eight nieces and nephews; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Fowler is preceded in death by her husband, Homer Fowler; son, James Cecil “Buddy” Fowler; daughter-in-law, Wanda Fowler; brothers, Y.D. “Bill” Henderson, Rev. J.C. Henderson; James Ether Henderson and Dr. E. Harold Henderson; sisters, Lou Della Pilgrim and Susan Pauline Rushing.
