Mary Frances (Bullard) Nicholson

Graveside services for Mary Frances Nicholson, 88, of Winnsboro will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 27, 2023, at Piney Grove Cemetery with Pastor Anthony Anderson officiating. Interment will be in the Piney Grove Cemetery. Arrangements will be under the direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home. Mrs. Nicholson passed away, united eternally with her Lord and Savior, on Saturday, January 21, 2023, in Tyler.

Mary Frances was born February 6, 1934, in Oklahoma to John Luther Bullard and Mamie Mae Connor Bullard. She retired from WFAA TV in Dallas having worked as the Switchboard Operator for many years. She was a two-time cancer survivor, the last charter member of Pineview Baptist Church, faithful wife, mother, grandma, and great-grandma (Nana).

Mrs. Nicholson is survived by her son, Glenn Nicholson and wife, Sandra; daughter, Debbie Crouch; brother, Andrew Bullard; sister, Doris Smith; grandchildren Joshua, Jeremy, and Dustin; and six great-grandchildren, Sebastian, Lexi, Benaiah, Bethany, Josiah, and number six due in July.

She is preceded in death by her husband, T.E. Nicholson; parents; four brothers; and three sisters.

Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 27, 2023, at Piney Grove Cemetery.
