Mrs. Patsy Rose Edwards, age 82, of Pittsburg passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 in Pittsburg. She was born September 2, 1939 to Welton Duncan, Sr. and Flossie West Duncan in the Brumley Community in Upshur County.
She was a homemaker and a member of Brumley Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Dona Edwards and wife Kirsten; grandchildren, Jim Edwards, Darren Edwards, Jude Edwards, Reece Edwards, and Clarke Edwards, and daughter-in-law, Meshelle Edwards-Clements and husband David; sister, Joann Kennedy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Charles Allen Edwards; her parents; her son, Johnny Edwards; and seven brothers and sisters.
Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Simpsonville Cemetery in Upshur County with Bro. Daniel Anderson officiating. There will be a short viewing before the service at the cemetery.
