TaShayla Marie Baker

Ms. TaShayla Marie Baker, age 23, of Pittsburg, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at her home. She was born March 28, 1997 to John Mark Baker and Rory Michele Smith Baker in Mt. Pleasant, Texas.

She attended the Church of the Nazarene in Pittsburg.

She is survived by her son, Johnathan Ross Pickle, her mother, Rory Baker, her brother, Quentin Hawkins and wife Ashlee, her grandparents, Howard and Carolyn Baker, and Marilyn Smith, great-grandmother, Ann Shrum, aunt, Elizabeth Sampson and husband Billy, aunt, Tara Butler, uncle Kevin King, a niece, Tatum Hawkins, and cousins, Carleigh Baker, Cameron Barber, Darius Allen, Tarina Butler, and Capria Howell.

She is preceded in death by her father, John Mark Baker, brothers, Keris Brooks and John Mark Baker Jr., grandfather, Charles Smith, and great-grandfather Wallace Shrum.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at the Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel with and Bro. Don Sides and Pastor Loyd officiating with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Pittsburg. Craig Mercer, Paul Mercer, Billy Dean Sampson, Paul Howell, Darius Allen, Alex Rogers, Cornelius Simmons, and Billy Hashaway III will be serving as pallbearers. There will be a visitation held Monday, September 28, 2020 from 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
