William Roy Milam, Jr.

Funeral Services for William Roy Milam, Jr., 62, of Pittsburg, will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at the Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Andrew Pack and Colby Bednar officiating.  Interment will be in Piney Grove Cemetery.  Mr. Milam passed away Saturday, February 15, 2020 at his residence.

Mr. Milam was born May 28, 1957 in Dallas to William Roy, Sr. and Ruth Gause Milam.  He was retried from Texas Utilities of Dallas County, worked Pilgrim’s Farm Manager and was a member of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife, Janice Marie Milam; sons, Clayton Roy Milam, Tanner Milam, Jr. Bednar and Eric Milam; daughters, Billie Dyke of Mt. Pleasant, Lilly Bednar of Pittsburg, Misty Milam of DeSoto; sister, Linda Puckett; brother-in-law, Nelson Puckett; grandchildren, Ashley Vaughan of Pittsburg, Stephanie Ellis of Longview, Britney Nunn of Houston, Christopher Dyke of Mt. Pleasant, Chey Strube of Mt. Pleasant, Colby Bednar of Pittsburg, Halayna Bednar of Pittsburg, Jacee Bednar of Pittsburg, Austin Milam, Dalton Milam of Dallas County and Cameron Milam of Dallas County; seven great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Milam is preceded in death by parents, William Roy Sr. and Ruth Milam; daughter, Brandy Milam.

Pallbearers will be Robert W. Murphree, Jr., Dylan Landers, Kelise McCaw, Gary Blackburn, John Wayne Murphree and Bubba Overstreet.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m., to service time Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at Erman Smith Funeral Home Chapel.
